Recent Pharmaceutical Projects

Foster Wheeler has created an impressive track record over the past 30 years, successfully delivering projects for facilities covering all aspects of pharmaceutical research, development and manufacture: active pharmaceutical ingredients, bulk biopharmaceuticals, liquid and solid dosage forms, pilot plants, research laboratories, medical devices, consumer health products, and diagnostics. Listed here are just some of the recent projects with which we have been involved. We are proud to have been associated twice with finalists for the Facility of the Year Award, which showcases exceptional projects and innovation within the pharmaceutical industry. In 2005, Lundbeck's fast-track Teesside facility, for which we were principal contractor, was selected as a finalist for a number of innovative, novel and unique aspects to the process building, utility generation and tank farm. In 2006, Janssen Pharmaceutica was selected as a finalist for its small volume area powder unit, with a unique combination of state-of-the art micronizing equipment and isolation technology.
